How to register for MIUI 12 Beta testing program

Xiaomi will soon announce officially that MIUI 12 along with the Mi 10 Youth in China. But while the event is yet to commence, you can now register for the MIUI 12 Beta testing program.

We know the drill before the new Stable MIUI update starts arriving for the general public, there’s always a closed beta preview. It seems the latest Xiaomi Android skin will follow the same route, and the registration is now open to people that would like to join the MIUI 12 Beta testing program.
However, this group will be testing the Chinese version of the update. According to a super moderator in the Mi community forum, the company will announce the Global MIUI 12 Beta testing program through the official channels. We expect to learn more after today’s launch, and we ask you to stay tuned for more information.
To begin your registration, you can go to WeChat and register through the official Xiaomi channel there. However, the easiest way is to scan the barcode on the picture above, it will take you to the link where you start the registration. Unfortunately, not all Xiaomi phones will be participating in the MIUI 12 Beta testing program, but you can as well check to be sure. 

HOW TO SCAN THE BARCODE TO JOIN MIUI 12 BETA TESTING PROGRAM

• You need an extra phone to scan the code ( Xiaomi phone preferably)

• Locate on the screen, an app folder or an app named “Tool”

• Click on the scanner and make sure the image “barcode” is close enough or follow this link directly.

• On the page, you will be asked to log in with your Mi Account

• The next page is where you select your device from the list of supported device and on the second row, you enter “Application Code”
• To get the Application Code, open the WeChat app or you can download from Playstore and register. Search for “MIUI” click on the official MIUI handle, and send MIUI 12 on the background. You will receive a code (numbers), that’s what you will input in the second Row after selecting your device.

Note: The website is in Chinese, and you might find it difficult to complete the registration. Well, you can use an auto translator, good luck.
